How a bathroom runs with us

One team, from first measure to final grout line.

It starts with a free site visit. We take measurements and assess the work required. Then, if required, you come to our showroom for a design visit, to choose tiles and settle the layout with us.

You get a quote inside a week. Tiling only or the full bathroom, plumbing included, the same team turns up every day until the job is finished.

What's included

The whole scope, in plain terms.

Everything between bare walls and a room you can use.

  1. 01

    Strip-out and making good

Old tiles off, walls checked, loose plaster cut back and patched. We tell you what we find before we cover it.

  2. 02

    Substrate

Tile backer board or primed plaster, depending on what is required.

  3. 03

    Tanking (if required)

Shower zones and bath surrounds tanked with a tested membrane, tape on every joint and corner.

  4. 04

    Falls

Walk-in shower floors laid to a steady fall, so water heads for the drain and not the door.

  5. 05

    Adhesives

Flexible adhesive matched to the tile and the surface. Full bed under every tile.

  6. 06

    Grout

Extensive selection of grout colours to choose from.

  7. 07

    Sealing (if required)

Natural stone sealed before and after grouting.

  8. 08

    Finish

Trims, niches and shelf edges mitred or trimmed. Room left clean, waste taken away.

FAQs

Questions we get asked a lot.

Something else on your mind? Ring us on 01772 334428. We'd rather you asked.

A fully tiled bathroom or ensuite (walls and floors) usually takes two to three days, based on a standard layout with standard tiles. Anything non-standard, such as large format or patterned tiling, could add one to two days.
