The project
This Euxton bathroom was a full refurbishment. The homeowners wanted a room that felt calm and spacious, with one striking wall to give it character.
Most of the walls are tiled in 300 × 900 light grey tiles laid in portrait, which draws the eye upwards and makes the room feel taller. Behind the freestanding bath, 1200 × 600 patterned tiles in a deep green onyx effect form the feature wall, running on into the shower enclosure.
The walls are fixed with Ultra TILEFIX standard set flexible adhesive and grouted in Tilemaster Grout 3000 in light grey, for a subtle contrast that also stands up to moisture and staining. A silver chrome trim finishes the window reveal, and every cut was set out so the large tiles land cleanly at the edges.
The bathroom suite and materials were supplied by our sister showroom, Homematas, and luxury vinyl click flooring finished the room.
