Six rooms, one floor

The brief

The old floors were dated and uneven. Everything had to come up and the base made dead level before long plank tiles could go down.

What we did

1. 01 Removed and disposed of the original floors with minimal disruption to the household
2. 02 Primed and levelled the whole ground floor with Kelmore PrimeMore Universal and LevelMore Rapid 30
3. 03 Laid 1200 × 200 dark oak-effect porcelain planks through all six rooms
4. 04 Grouted in Kelmore Flex15 Natural Grey

The result

A timber-look floor that runs through the whole ground floor and will take family life without complaint.
